Honey Bliss Manuka healing balms
As a producer, we take our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact seriously.

We do this by producing small batches to demand rather than masses of product that demand a hard sell. We work hard to source our raw material locally from growers and suppliers with a similar mindset, thereby minimising our carbon footprint and allowing for traceability. We are mindful of plastic in our packaging and in our product, there are no microbeads, plasticised polymers, liquid plastics or silicone polymers in our products.

The cosmetics industry produces over a billion units of packaging every year! Sadly, most of it ends up in landfill. We have thought very carefully about how we package our products so they can be recycled at home or sent back to us for reuse.

Our recycling programme:

You can send your jars, bottles and any aluminium packaging (tins and lids) back to us and we will recycle or reuse it. We have the capacity to sterilise and reuse the glass jars we pack our products in. Aluminium components are sent out for recycling. If your product has a plastic pump hold onto it and re-use it! When you re-order chose the refill option which will arrive with an aluminium lid instead of a pump. The cardboard boxes and protective wrap we use can be home composted.

We are currently working on more environmentally friendly labels. Our current labels are only compostable via a commercial process not a home compost bin. We’ll keep you posted on our progress with these!
